These range from: INFORMATION Overview Reports We have designed this website to act as your “one-stop-shopping” place for information about weddings in the entire country of Mexico. In three comprehensive reports, we have outlined information about the destinations themselves, the range of venues and properties located in each of those destinations with links to their own websites as well as to their Trip Advisor letters of recommendation (or for private properties their listings on vrbo.com/homeaway.com. We make it as easy as possible for you to decide where you want to go and then to make your own arrangements! We also include a list of excellent wedding planners and service providers in the local areas, offered in a non-biased way. Expert Advice I If you are looking for more personalized advice, just contact us by email or phone and we’re happy to engage in a free and no-obligation conversation with you for up to 30 minutes about the pros and cons of particular destinations, resorts, properties, providers, seasons, etc., so that you can get specific questions answered or concerns dispelled. Expert Advice II If your needs are more involved or specific, you are welcome to schedule a video call with one of our wedding specialists when available to discuss matters such as competing wedding packages from resorts, benefits of resorts vs. private villas, specific issues related to your guests/family, marriage laws and requirements in Mexico. Rates are $100 USD per hour. COORDINATION Wedding Coordination in Resorts Almost all large resorts have someone on staff to coordinate the weddings held there. This includes your site visit if you do one, pre-event decisions, room-counts, event venues, guest numbers, etc. They also handle making sure your various service providers show up on time the day of, such as the flowers, the photographer, the officiant, etc. However, at some resorts at least, these coordinators are overworked and underpaid, and can only pay as much attention to your particular needs as they have time for amidst all the other weddings and events scheduled at (almost) the same time. If you have particular needs, or are requiring complex logistics or coordination, you may want to bring your own coordinator with you. We can supply that person! Resort Coordination I Our coordinator only handles pre-event arrangements with you and works closely with the onsite coordinator to iron out any niggling details. They do not attend the event directly. Rates are $100 per hour. Resort Coordination II Our coordinator only handles onsite arrangements with you and coordinates the event on your behalf I conjunction with the resort’s coordinator. Rates are $100 USD per hour + travel expenses. Resort Coordination III Our coordinator handles all pre-event and day-of arrangements and works closely with the resort’s coordinator. Rates are $100 per hour + travel expenses. Private Property Coordination Small Boutique Hotels and Private Villas most likely do not have their own onsite coordinators, and tend to use local providers to handle the logistics of their events. You are of course welcome to contact the owners/managers of those properties and rely on their judgment and network of providers, but in case you are interested in having your own coordination service, we can provide it! Private Property Coordination I Our coordinator only handles pre-event arrangements with you and works closely with the property owner/manager to iron out any niggling details. They do not attend the event directly. Rates are $100 per hour. Private Property Coordination II Our coordinator only handles onsite arrangements with you and coordinates the event on your behalf I conjunction with the property’s owner/manager. Rates are $100 USD per hour + travel expenses. Private Property Coordination III Our coordinator handles all pre-event and day-of arrangements and works closely with the property’s owner/manager. Rates are $100 per hour + travel expenses. DECORATION/ILLUMINATION Working with our sister companies of the Events de Luxe consortium, we can offer personalized decoration and illumination that most resorts and no private properties can offer, such as an almost-unlimited variety of tablecloths and chair covers, napkins, three full sets of fine china, silverware, and glassware service for up to 50 participants, including the popular “Love Story” by Mikasa, and a full catalogue of table decorations, wedding favors, rice-paper umbrellas, seashells, and many other decorative elements. We also feature a huge range of LED lights that can illuminate many aspects of the service and/or the part afterwards, either inside or outside. These illuminated elements can add a huge touch of class and panache to your event, no matter how small or intimate! EVERYTHING If you want to choose a venue that doesn’t provide much on its own, or don’t choose to use what’s provided, you can do everything with us! Using our huge network of local suppliers and our own vast experience with events, we can provide everything you need to bring off your event impeccably. We typically use local providers for the big equipment such as tables and chairs, and then fly or drive in everything else—key personnel like the chef, head waiter and coordinator, all decorative elements, and any other needed equipment—from our headquarters in Mexico City. This service guarantees that you get what you want wherever you want it! We also have a travel agency to handle all your guests’ reservations and your honeymoon, and we specialize in creating whole vacations of activities for your families and guests, using the wedding as the excuse for getting them to Mexico and then delighting them with all the activities and opportunities once here.
